North Studios is owned and managed by Ben Petch, who has been involved with music and technology his whole life.

Ben knows that a successful recording session requires a mix of quality and reliable equipment, a comfortable workspace and an engineer who can work with you to create and produce the sound you are seeking for your production.

We also provide conversions from old Video formats to DVD, Cassette and Vinyl to CD / Mp3 and more, so you can bring all your old classics to life with the benefits of the operating system in North Studios.

We now have our 8mm and Super 8mm film to DVD transfer service, which boasts much cheaper rates than our competitors. For this, we use a frame by frame scanning method, which results in a MUCH clearer picture than just a "point and shoot" technique used by some.

On top of all this, we are 100% solar powered, so you can rest assured our services won't cost the earth.
